Default 2 Year Anniversary

So we took the day off of work and went to Busan for 2 days. Busan is in the very south of Korea, so we had to take the subway, taxi, bullet train, and another taxi from Songtan to Busan. The bullet train went about 160mi/hr and got us to Busan in 2hrs and 20 minutes! We stayed in a hotel by the beach (see pictures for view!) and went to eat at a really good Indian restaurant called Ganga (ah bliss, good Indian food in Korea). After dinner we went walking around to explore the area and found some little video arcades and played games for a little bit. We ended up back at the hotel and see that they have a video arcade downstairs also... but their video arcade turned into this hidden room hidden through all of these hallways and doors that finally ended in a little smoke filled room with korean men playing slot machines! haha... we tried it out but didn't understand how to do it (seemed like just throwing away your money but maybe we were playing wrong) and the air in there was waaay too tense for us. So the next day we hung out on the beach, I made Mark test the water with me (I had to beg him to take his shoes off and go in the water) and a little group of Korean kids were so excited with our presence and wanted a picture of all of us together. So I got one too for your viewing pleasure. We also went to the Busan Aquarium and ate sushi! One thing to add is that Mark and I felt pretty underdressed at the beach next to the Koreans... but we've also heard from other people that a lot of Koreans go to the beach fully clothed. Another reason we can tell that I'm only half! It was a really nice little trip relaxing by the ocean, even if people were surprised we only stayed 2 days. So Happy 2 Years to us ! You can access the gallery here.

p.s. By the way, our digital camera broke on the subway somehow so we had to buy a bunch of cheap-o disposable cameras. Sorry for the quality of the pics!
