Puppy Love    Posted: Sat, 11-25-2006 04:48 PM, by Mark

So our friend had this very cute dog, a large brindle coated English Mastiff. Long story short, Wendy fell in love with him; so we, in our compulsion, got this little monster. Her name is Zelda:

Hey, it's better than a baby

Here's a pic of her Mom and Dad

Thailand!    Posted: Tue, 07-04-2006 12:37 AM, by Wendy

We just got back from Thailand a couple of days ago. It was so relaxing and felt really long. Everything was cheap - our hotel was really nice and only cost $40/night. The food was great and the scenery was beautiful! We did an island hopper tour one day and went snorkeling in crystal clear water and swam at Maya Bay, which is where the movie The Beach was filmed.

We also visited Phi Phi Island where they were hit by the Tsunami pretty badly. You can see the pictures where they are still rebuilding. We talked to a local there and he said that he was there for it and just made a run for the mountains. This island is so small though, it was pretty scary imagining what it must have been like. There are no roads or vehicles on the island because it is so small, so the people that ran to the mountains literally ran to the mountains. Thailand was beautiful but you can see that the people are very poor. One of our tour guides told us to tell our friends to come visit Thailand- so many people have donated a lot of money to help rebuild since the Tsunami and they want the people to be able to see what they have done by contributing.

Anyhoo, enjoy sifting through all 400 pictures :) We actually made an effort to take pictures of this trip.

P.S. For those of you who care, Mark has posted more pictures from his nerd fest in L.A.

And there are pictures from a DMZ trip I took with my friend Kimberly.

New member of the household.    Posted: Sat, 03-04-2006 06:20 AM, by Mark

Well we've gone and done it. We destroyed our quiet little household. We unleashed a tiny disaster on this little apartment and now there's no turning back. Here's a warning to everyone else out there, if you see this creature coming your way.... RUN! She's a terror in disguise!

Some call her Izzy. She'll catch you offguard while you look at those adorable eyes. Hide your shoes, you've been warned!

More pictures of the monster.

Australia!    Posted: Sun, 02-05-2006 04:02 AM, by Wendy

We had a really nice, looong vacation finally! This was the longest vacation either of us has ever had and it was really relaxing. Australia was a lot like the States, so I think it just left us even more ready to return home. The only pictures we didn't get to take was when Mark and I went parasailing-- it was a great view of the beach! We started off in Sydney, went to the Blue Mountains for some camping, and then headed to Gold Coast to hang out by the beach. We did a lot of swimming, sightseeing, and of course- eating! haha, it was nice to be surrounded by resaurants that weren't all Korean :)

Now we're back here in freezing Korea counting down the days... 6 more months!
